Moving home is just part of life nowadays. So with Bank of Ireland we wanted to break the mould when it came to a mortgages campaign, by developing a story that tapped into this modern truth while carefully weaving the bank’s role into the narrative.
People are moving home more than ever. The European average is between 4 and 6 times over a lifetime. Irish people no longer buy a house for life, they buy a house for their life right now.
Where other mortgage providers focus on families moving into their forever home, we wanted to position Bank of Ireland as being there for their customers during each and every move. To show the bank as an ever-present support, helping customers as they transition through different life stages.
We created a heart-warming campaign that really captures the emotions of moving home, while underpinning Bank of Ireland as a reassuring constant “wherever you go”.
